Iran, The Land of All Seasons

Tour details

Origin City: Tabriz

Visited Countries:

description

Despite being known as a desert country, Iran benefits from the mountain ranges that separate various basins and plateaus. Such are, for example, the Zagros massifs and the Alborz Mountain range. The last stretching from the west to the east of the country, overlooks the Caspian Sea. The country's climate is characterized by this geographic diversity.

This tour is offered for all who dream of unveiling unspoiled beauty, off the beaten track. You start from Tabriz, perched at an altitude of over 1300 meters with a cold Mediterranean continental climate. You will cross the road, contemplating the green heights of Alborz and spectacular views, towards the coasts that overlook the Caspian Sea. Located 28 meters below sea level, despite Iran's predominantly arid climate, the Caspian Sea is an exception with a Pontic climate all year round. You will continue to Tehran, the capital of Iran. The city situation, between mountains and desert basin, has an impact on the city's climate. In the northern districts, the climate benefits from a cool, semi humid temperature. On the other hand, the southern areas of the city, almost in direct contact with the desert, are hot and dry.

Passing through the oasis of Kashan, located in the central deserts, and mountainous villages such as Abyaneh, you will discover Isfahan which lies in the heart of the Iranian plateau and to the east of the Zagros mountains. This getaway ends with the discovery of Shiraz which is built in a plain and at the foot of Zagros with a semi arid and pleasant climate.
