We will visit the wonderful classic sites and great archeological sites in all the cities. We will familiarize you with different aspects of art, culture and Persian routine life by considering the amazing religious diversity. We will also meet and discuss the people who play an important role in Iranian lives.

Day 1

Arrival Tehran

You will be met on arrival at IKA Airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 3

Tehran-Kashan : 255 km

In the morning, visit National Museum of Iran. Then explore Golestan Palace, listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a brilliant example of an important period in the history of Persia where the society starts a new era of modernism. Then depart Tehran for Kashan where you enjoy the great Iranian architecture, designed based on the weather of this wonderful city. Next, visit Fin Garden, listed in World Heritage Site as an example of Persian garden.

Day 5

Yazd

In Yazd, you Immerse yourself in the history, so you will start your sightseeing by visiting Towers of Silence, used for Zoroastrian funeral ceremonies. Then proceed to Zoroastrian Fire Temple in which the holy fire has been preserved for more than 1500 years and gives you the chance to get familiar with Zoroaster religion. Then proceed to Amir Chakhmaq Square. In the afternoon Water Museum and then admire Jameh Mosque of Yazd, a masterpiece of Persian architecture. Afterward, stroll in the Historical District in Yazd, listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 7

Shiraz

In Shiraz, you explore Nasir-ol-molk Mosque; also known as the Pink Mosque. Afterwards, you visit Narenjestan e Ghavam Garden and enjoy the beautiful orangery gardens. Next, you proceed your sightseeing to Hafiz Tomb where you appreciate a great poet who was also admired by Goethe. Finally, you end the day by visiting Ali Ibn Hamzeh Holy Shrine and Vakil Bazaar; a traditional covered bazaar located at the center of Shiraz enjoying natural air conditioning, arches and stunning architecture.

Day 9

Isfahan

In Isfahan, you get mesmerized by a whole parade of wondrous sights. First, you visit Jameh Mosque of Isfahan, one of the five oldest Friday Mosques still standing in the world and built in the four-iwan architectural style. Continue your sightseeing to Si-o-se Pol and Khaju Bridges, which have spanned the Zayandehrud River, and the Vank Cathedral, also known as church of the saintly sisters. Afterward, you will visit Grand Bazaar of Isfahan where you enjoy the miniature and handicrafts galleries.

Day 11

Isfahan-Abyaneh-Tehran : 500 km

Depart Isfahan for Tehran. On the way, visit Jameh Mosque of Natanz and Ceramic Workshop. Then go for a stroll in the Historical Village of Abyaneh, also known as the Red Village because of its red soil and houses. Your next stop is Qom, the center of theological educations in which Mullahs are educated. In Qom, you will visit Fatima Holy Shrine, the daughter of the 7th Shia Imam.

Day 2

Tehran

Sightseeing in Tehran: visit Saad Abad Palace (White and Green Palace); the residential site of two former kings of Iran, which was also the host of Tehran Conference in 1943. Then explore Tajrish Bazaar, a covered bazaar which has retained its old architectural structure. Afterward, visit Iranian Artists House in which you can meet Iranian artists and have a good exchange about art in Iran. In addition, you will enjoy art galleries; finally, visit Carpet Museum of Iran and admire Persian carpets, which portray Iranian traditional art.

Day 4

Kashan-Nain-Yazd : 391 km

In the morning, visit Tabatabaei Historical House, a brilliant example for Persian traditional architecture. Then depart Kashan for the atmospheric city of Yazd, also known as the capital of Zoroastrianism. Afterwards, call in at Jameh Mosque of Nain, built more than 1000 years ago. At the end, explore Kavir Anthropology Museum constructed in Safavid era as the pattern of traditional houses of the central deserts.

Day 6

Yazd-Pasargadae-Shiraz : 450 km

Depart Yazd for Shiraz, known as the city of poetry and love. On the way, visit the Cypress of Abarkuh, the most ancient alive creature in Asia, and Pasargadae in which you will find the tomb of Cyrus the Great as the founder of the Achaemenid Dynasty.

Day 8

Shiraz-Persepolis-Isfahan : 489 km

Depart Shiraz for Isfahan, the capital of Persian Emperor in Safavid Dynasty. On the way, visit Persepolis, the ancient capital of Persia with its wonderfully well-preserved remains. Then Proceed to Naqsh-e Rustam, which contains four graves of the first Achaemenid Emperors, Darius the Great, Xerxes, Artaxerxes I and Darius II, carved into the cliff.

Day 10

Isfahan

Continue sightseeing in Isfahan including Chehel Sotoun Palace (Forty Columns), a brilliant example for the Persian Garden. Next, visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square the second largest square in the world, Imam Mosque where has housed the most ancient ceramics, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, also known as the mosque of women, and Ali Qapu Palace whose terrace overlooks the square. Have some leisure time in the afternoon.

Day 12

Departure from Tehran

Transfer to IKA Airport.
